Wooo! I want to let you know that we – the NAD Board and staff – are truly thrilled with the strong show of support in response to NAD action in the past two weeks.
Thank you for your wonderful comments, emails, and handwaves in support of the new NAD position statement on American Sign Language and the recent NAD response to AGBell. It is clear that your passion for the NAD is very much alive and strong!
The strength of the NAD depends on every one of you. With every one of you as a member of the NAD, we can become even stronger! If you are already a member or recently joined, wonderful! If you are not, join now! It’s really easy, go to www.nad.org/join.

I read some messages from this that people have decided to join a member of NAD. I am so thrilled and I am sure that you all are thrilled, too.
Let us have a goal to arrive at 100,000 members of NAD. It is time. NAD will definitely be a stronger organization since 1880. We must not forget people in 1880. Because they strongly believed and thought that we would have 100,000 members by NOW. Have we? Let’s go and talk with people who are not a member of NAD yet.

I want to say that I’m impressed by all of your efforts toward NAD and among the Deaf community across America. *Handwaving*
For we all in need of unity of all of us with ASL to show support toward NAD.
I will be joining to be a member of NAD once I get my paycheck and want to be there among you.
