By advocacy | September 17, 2008
The U.S. House of Representatives today passed the ADA Amendments Act. The U.S. Senate passed the bill on September 11, 2008. The bill now goes to the White House. More than a hundred civil rights and disability advocates joined employers and members of Congress on the steps of the Capitol today to urge the president to sign the ADA Amendments Act into law.
