Presidential Candidates Forum – Live and Webcast

Plan to attend the “National Forum on Disability Issues” in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, July 26, 2008, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). If you can’t be there in person, watch the webcast which will run simultaneously, with captioning and American Sign Language interpreting.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Senator John McCain has confirmed that he will address the forum by satellite. Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama has confirmed that his surrogate, Senator Tom Harkin, will attend in person. During the forum, Mr. McCain and Mr. Obama (through Mr. Harkin) will have an opportunity to present his vision for the future of national disability policy and receive questions from the audience through news anchor and journalist Judy Woodruff (“The News Hour with Jim Lehrer”), who will moderate the event.

Hosting sponsorship of this event by the NAD is made possible through the support of Sorenson Communications® (www.sorenson.com).
